Anything close to Ulead DVDWS2 in Windows 7+? (LS?)

LS or anyone,

Is there any such app that comes close to Ulead WS2 for authoring DVD? WS2 is soooooo easy and intuitive; custom menus, buttons, etc., are so easy easy to make (or import into), with drag/assign buttons, create your own text vs. using those generic buttons.

Is it just me that thinks this? I've tried products by Pinnacle (Studio), Corel (MovieFactory & VideoStudio) and unless, I'm mistaken, you cannot create a custom menu with your own buttons(??).

I just can't get WS2 to work properly on Win 7, even in XP Mode. It keeps crashing when I get into the Menu tab to create/assign chapters. Very frustrated.. ugh.

Any help w/b greatly appreciated... Thanks!

This can have various causes.
Here, for example, under W7 I have the LAV disable or even remove splinters / parser.

Set your system to the date back as PT2 still worked and look what you have since been reinstalled.

See out my photos .... 2 with an error message and then without LAV Splitter.
Unfortunately, I can not speak English to help accurately.

Thank you, kindly, for responding. I searched for LAV filters and could not find any on my pc.. so I don't think there is anything to uninstall or disable.. :(. Your English is quite good, by the way ;). AGain, thank you!

XP Mode .... I did not.
We have separate disks, Win 7 and Win XP

I would assemble caddy and create a 2.System with Win XP.

I have here in the studio yet TMPGEnc Authoring Works 5 + Adobe Encore + Sony Vegas Architect, but I prefer to work with Ulead Power Tools 2, see the two screens in the above post.

I'm still using Ulead DVD Workshop 2 in a Windows XP SP3 VM in Virtualbox. No issues. I may try to install it soon in Win7 x64, just to see what happens. My new system is slowly coming live again.
