My Sony PJ260 camcorder shoots HD and can project the video onto the wall. However, it can project only videos that it shoots.
The videos it shoots is in .MTS format. So I am wondering if I can somehow convert my DVD Video movies to .MTS format, store it on the memory card and play through the projector. I tried Handbrake to convert a DVD to .MTS and put it on memory card, however, the camcorder didn't even see the .MTS file. So it must be checking for some 'property' of the video file before projecting. Which software helps me achieve this? Some HEX editor stuff? Thanks for your help. It is an AVCHD camcorder. |
I've seen stuff like this before.
You have to match every spec, and it might (MIGHT!) work. What those are, I don't know. It varies from device to device -- i.e., how picky it is. |
I will try it and post the results.
