Sony DSR-2000AP does not respond to Scenalyzer?
 

I bought Sony DSR-2000AP, so what.

It works fine on its own, but when tryign to transfer DV tapes with Scenalyzer the deck does not respond to any commands. When starting to capture there is a still frame at current position of the tape, it repeats for a second and capture stops.

Is the deck non-comliant to the software, or what?

Have you tried WinDV instead? I find both software to be finicky, so I think there are issues with DV itself, but in my experience WinDV has been more reliable overall.

Scene had no problems with my miniDV and Digita8 camcorders, but maybe a prodeck is too much for it.

WinDV sayes "Error: Can't find DV output pin". Same for camcorder same for this VCR.

Not to mention it doesn't show any devices in Video Source other than built in webcam...

Nevermind WinDV.

Always read the manual, the DSR has a awitch for remote control, it was off...
