--- Sony SL-HF950 Super Betamax Pro Recorder Attachment 15247 Attachment 15248 Attachment 15249 Attachment 15250 Attachment 15251 Recent (2021) major overhaul including PSU rebuild and drum refinishing by expert. Really collectable unit this one, and there are very few of these left in serviceable condition. Please see the video tour of the machine and demonstration of it working (recorded 01 June 2022) here: What you're buying: 1x Sony SL-HF950 video recorder 1x Universal remote programmed for the machine. Not so good bits:
Fantastic and feature-laden machine, including SuperBeta & SuperBeta Pro recording and playback, a host of trick play features, edit functions and of course the sled loading which is unique to this machine. This is a very late Betamax machine (1988 ish) so there were few if any PAL machines after this. This machine has been doted on (apart from the carpet fitted who sprayed glue on the front of it!) and has wanted for nothing, it's also in the UK which few of these seem to be, especially SECAM compatible models. https://youtu.be/ekLFQYmf-dQ For the series on the overhaul and repair of this machine by MrBetaByte. Collection/Cash welcome from East Anglia otherwise well packaged and sent by DPD or ParcelForce insured to bid value on 24 hour service. International sale will be wrapped securely and can be collected at any point by courier from our Suffolk office. Invoiced sale, but no warranty implied or inferred. Please remember I'm in BST (UTC+1), so any enquiries may result in a time delay if any North American enquries are received, you are not being ignored :wink2: |
Hungry Joe?

Yeah, The link posted shows the VCR still broken, I would post the very last video that shows a fully functioning VCR, otherwise people assume it's sold as is for parts or repair, Good luck.

I'm a rather huge fan of Joseph Heller's Catch-22. All of the machines in that office have name plates that are characters from the novel. |
Now sold...
