[SOLD] Datavideo TBC-1000 from EU
2 Attachment(s)
Selling a TBC-1000 with a somewhat unique history. The owner prior to me bought it new and used it for private video transfer. He also happened to be a service tech on a public service broadcast house, and measured the all the important caps (in place) prior to selling (which pushed the price upward somewhat I believe). I bought it from him to have as a backup if my TBC-3000 would fail, so it’s just been sitting on the shelf in bubble plastic. (I’ve bought yet another TBC-1000.) The unit is very very minty.
Comes with an OEM transformer that is heavy enough to actually contain a real transformer, but I can’t vouch for that. North European mains plug. Asking €1650 + shipping. The TBC-1000 has auto PAL/NTSC detection and I will ship worldwide. But I believe this could be a good opportunity for EU citizens to buy without tariffs or customs declaration. Shipped from Sweden. I can produce a video of the actual unit with S-video signal passing through on request. After receiving the TBC you’ve got three days to check and examine it thoroughly. Should there be any problem I will buy it back and we’ll split the return shipping cost (if within EU). Paypal preferred. All the best, Ulf Attachment 19583 Attachment 19584 |
Price correction: €1650
At the moment I can't figure out how to edit the post above, but the price I'm asking is of course €1650 and not €16500:o

Fixed.
I told a few EU members about this. It looks like a good unit, for anybody in the EU market. It will sell, give it time. |
Thanks Smurf!

SOLD - but not the advertised unit. Explanation below, might be useful in the future when I sell my second TBC-1000.
From what I've found in the Internet, the TBC-1000 has auto switch between PAL and NTSC, so there shouldn't be anything like a "PAL" or "NTSC" version. But the buyer located in Greece found out that they're probably made PAL first/NTSC fallback and vice versa. The unit I wanted to sell had no label to verify any standard and Datavideo wouldn't dig into looking at the serial number since it's a legacy product. Since I bought this unit from the first owner and Scandinavia like the rest of Europe is PAL, I think there's one chance out of thousand that this would be an NTSC first unit. But, curiously, when checking the other TBC-1000 that I have, I discovered a PAL label on the lower side and the buyer asked if he could have that one instead, and that was fine by me. So I still have the unit I advertised, but it will sit on my backup shelf until my TBC-3000 fails or until I stumble over another one. These TBC:s are super.
