Just curious, is there anything special about this proc amp that would make other more common devices not meet your needs? Since SDI is already digital, it's a little simpler electrically to change values in an SDI signal. Any pro TBC that has SDI in and out, or even video mixers with those adjustments would likely work depending on your target application.

Its special because its just a simple procamp with knobs on the front. Small footprint. Its a nice to have, I don't need a high end pro broadcast $5-10k device for that. Are you aware of any under $1k pro TBC that supports SD SDI that has proc amp features with knobs on the front not buried in menus?

Something like this would work and would have waaaaay more features:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/298352788293

Basically you'd press the button on the front for the setting you want to adjust and it's all just the one knob to move things.

Even though it is a format converter, you can set it to do NTSC to NTSC. Also has YC delay, masking of lines (useful to hide head switching noise in realtime)

Not sure what your intended budget is though. They are big and heavy, but they can do a lot including being your ADC (taking S-Video or composite as an input and outputting SDI). I haven't really tested mine for line TBC functionality, but they do work as frame TBCs. Also has legalizer functions, noise reduction options, etc.

Probably not what you're looking for if you absolutely need it to be compact/silent/or you want a dedicated knob for each proc amp adjustment.

Accessing proc-amp through the front panel menu or via an add on PC application is not that hard, it just needs getting use to the first few times and you're good to go. Anything with knobs on the front is going to be a mixing console or similar that is too bulky for the task. What do you need the proc-amp for? capturing from analog sources?

Ya its just a piece of gear i'm looking for because its minimal, simple, rare, mobile. Never see it pop up. I don't need a bunch of extra features just looking to have proc amp settings on an SDI signal before it enters my capture card so my initial captures are color correct at source.

Just capturing from analog sources that outputs SDI. I should look more into software I guess though via AJA Control Panel. I've never seen a proc amp tab to adjust. If I can adjust it there and get used to it that would be ideal, but again I don't see anywhere you can do that. I don't want to adjust it via Luminetri / Editing software. Trying to get the color right as it comes in initially for the raw capture to save a step. I like buttons and knobs too lol Would be a nice piece of gear to find out in the wild just for rarity sake.

When I look up proc amp features of AJA Control Room the internet tells me "If capturing via AJA Control Room: This software does not include live, real-time proc amp adjustments or scopes for inbound video recording. You must ingest the video exactly as it streams in, and then apply color adjustments afterward." -- Which is why i'd like to find that piece of hardware as im trying to avoid adjusting colors after the fact in post.

Making post-capture adjustments is a bad idea, especially if you capture 8-bit.
All adjustments should be done before the digitizing.
