Seeking Datavideo TBC-1000 replacement/alternative
I am building up some VHS to digital video capture capability and am searching for a TBC. I had the opportunity to get a Datavideo TBC-1000 but person decided that he still needed it.
My components thus are are: Panasonic VHS recorder/player (I forget the model) a Sharp recorder that can play s-video as well. ATI AIW PCI card in a XP machine, and virtualdub and AVSISynth (plus some sony authoring programs). I know the VCRs are a weak spot and I am being opportunistic in my approach to acquire decent equipment. If the opportunity presents itself, I'd like to get a panasonic Es10 (or equivalent). I still want a separate TBC. To manage costs a little better, I am looking more for used gear and older but very capable gear. e.g. not inclined to go out and drop $2kUSD on a currently produced TBC. So with that in mind, am seeking advice of experienced experts for suggestions. Best regards, J |
I have a DataVideo TBC-100 (rare PCI version, extremely clean signal passing) for $475.
