For sale: AVT-8710 (green) timebase corrector (TBC) [SOLD]

December update! Only 1 left!

Most of the AVT-8710s made after 2011 have chipset issues.
It's been discussed on this site many times. This thread especially: http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/vcr-...-8710-doa.html

This unit for sale was made in 2006.
It's the sought-after green unit. Not the cheap black units sold today.

This has been tested, and works flawlessly.
It's like new, rarely used. It was one of the backup units.
It comes in the original box, includes power supply, paperwork, etc.

If you want a quality AVT-8710, now's your chance.

Price is $350.

(Why sell it? Because our workflows have changed some. Due to power, we were forced to use only the 8710. The TVA grid hated external DataVideo hardware. Since moving, we've added back DataVideo hardware, to take advantage of higher-end pricier gear like the TBC-3000, with it's embedded proc amp. So excess 8710 units sit in boxes. Time to give them new homes!)

What is the difference between the two (Green vs. Black)?

Came across this site supposedly selling the green model: https://www.omegamultimedia.com/AV_T...Corrector.html
When I called to confirm, they said they were selling the black model. Misleading advertising to say the least.

I'm now down to my last green AVT-8710. Who wants it? :)

Note:
I've had a few low-ball offers, often with the would-be buyer saying "I can get one on eBay for $2xx". But that's not accurate. The TBCs on eBay are the latter-generation (post-2010) units with known flawed chipsets. The output signal is wonky and randomly freezes frames. Those will give you a miserable capturing experience. What I have is the flawless good unit (pre-2010). It's not at all the same.

@JoRodd: Hopefully the above note also answers your question.
