Long story, but I acquired these back when attempting to find a Panasonic AG-1980P replacement. Trying to recover costs. nothing else. So you'll be getting a good deal.

Compare it to the SR-V101US deck, which sells for $200-250, and it's a big POS compared to these. :blink:

The internals of this deck (DVS2U) are similar to the better-known JVC SR-V10U Professional deck. And that deck is comparable to a HR-S9800, 9900 or 9911, in terms of stability/tracking. The SR units are sometimes better with EP/SLP mode tapes.
