For Sale: Panasonic AG-1970P VCR refurbished [ENDED]
 

I have two Panasonic AG-1970p VCRs for sale.

Both of these units have been repaired/refurbished by deter who is well known for his work and expertise. All leaky capacitors have been replaced and other repairs made as required.

These units have not been used since the repairs were completed and are in excellent working condition. They may have minor cosmetic blemishes.

I am selling these for $495 each plus actual shipping costs (FedEx preferred).

Yes these are good VCR's. They have a really nice picture and all the caps were replaced than fixed the front panel on the one unit. The outside condition was fine in my eyes, the machines are pretty tight, the video heads are really good and all the electronics that causes problems was fix, these machines can run at top levels for a while. No loading or ejecting problems either.

This is actually a really good deal, the cost to repair these was pretty close to the selling price and the one unit had fix twice which we didn't charge him. Than he paid for all the shipping you are basically getting these at his cost. Than you add in the actual costs of the units. Granted I understand these don't sell for $700 to $800 but that is what they should....

I have decided to keep one of the two I have for sale.

I am dropping the price on one of these AG-1970p's from $495 plus shipping to $435 plus shipping. (TGrant has one for sale for $555).

As mentioned above this machine has been refurbished with the all the infamous capacitors replaced and all other performance issues fixed.

I have not used this machine, other than testing, since it was repaired.

The AG-1970 is a very good "commercial" quality machine. It doesn't get mentioned as much as the more expensive AG-1980p but is solid and will perform well.
