Should I buy an external recorder USB? What's recommended?
Which usb burner do you recommend?

-- Avoid the "slim" model burners!
-- Don't buy an LG burner! Get a full-sized drive from Pioneer, Samsung/Toshiba, Sony, or LiteOn. For example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106338 LiteOn would actually be my fourth choice, but it can be easier to get than the others. |

Philips doesn't actually manufacture drives, and is just a brand name, so you always need to see what's actually inside.
From what I can find online, some SPD3400CC owners have opened their drives and posted the true model online: a LiteON DH-18A1P. As per above, LiteON drives are fine. It looks to be a European model, not one found in North America. Amazon.co.uk used to sell it: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...SIN=B000OCZ41O (now out of stock) Looks good to me. :thumb: |
Thank KPmedia:) Buy the Philips
