DVD cleaners, scratch removal kits?
Anyone knows a good one, or are they all basically the same. Wet or dry which is better. Is it possible to do more damage with those scratch removal kits than help.
Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks. |
They are all scams. There are two options to "fix" scratches:
(1) Fill it with something. (2) Sand down the surface and re-polish. #1 can be done with toothpaste and your fingers. #2 is expensive, and requires a specialty service The best thing to do, is handle discs better, and always have discs in duplicate or triplicate. This is a big reason why "backup" is so popular. |
