Which Sony has archival DVD media rating?
 

I downloaded DVD Identifier and put a blank disc in the drive; the manufacturer was Sony, and the code was SONYD21. This appears in both your list of archival grade DVD's and 2nd grade DVD's. So which is it, or do I need to look at other data from the Identifier program?

For Sony discs, refer to the country of origin. Read the package Was it made in Taiwan, made in India, or made in Malaysia? Taiawn is the good disc -- both Ritek and Sony-made discs. The others are not that great.
