Best Branded DVD-R / DVD+R blanks in 2013?
 

Seems really hard to find good ones anymore and after reviewing the chart on digital faq.

What I need is dvd-r Preferably . dvd+r 16x second choice that is branded

JVC TY (there's nothing branded but the gold ones)
Verbatim (Have not been able to find the good ones made in Singapore) Are Taiwan really any good as a second best verbatim ?
Sony (again Taiwan doubt I can find any of the good Daxon) Will other Sony Taiwan be worth looking for?
TDK made in Japan or Luxemburg are probably not going to come easy if they were stopped on 2006

What are some other alternatives for dvd-r 16x branded

Mitsubishi Verbatim is what is most recommended

JVC TY is still around.
Verbatim / Mistsubishi is still around.
TDK's own media has been gone for years -- now it's just a brand owned by Imation, which uses CMC.
Sony is all Ritek "F" media -- Fuji oxonol dyes -- which actually isn't half bad. TY and Verbatim is still better.

There's less media now than there used to be. You can largely blame then 2008 economic worldwide meltdown.
