MCC/MKM media comes from: - Singapore, the main Mitsubishi owned facility - Tawain, from the CMC plant (but it is NOT CMC media!). Also formerly the Prodisc plant. - UAE (United Arab Emirates), from the FTI (Falcon Tech) plant, Again, NOT FTI media! - India was also a former location, at the MBI (Moser Baer) plant. I think they were dumped due to heavy QC issues. Quote:

1 to cmc manufactures for verbatim? you guys said it was bad cmc
2 mitsui mam- a and taiyo are good and the medias? |
It's just real estate. MCC makes the disc at the CMC plant. Those plants probably aren't cheap to make, hence the renting of space. CMC makes CMC discs, MCC makes MCC discs. But at the CMC plant.
Mitsui (MAM-A, MAM-E) is terrible. Taiyo Yuden is excellent as well. Both it and Verbatim (Mitsubishi) are excellent choices. As long as it's not fake. |
1 mitsui mam to this on the same level of bad cmc philips?
2 one philips 16x dvd cmc mag.01 can have a life span of 10 years? -- merged -- reply my questions please |
MAM-A and CMC are both junk.
CMC lifespans tend to be fine. It;s getting the initial quality burn that's at issue. Stop asking us to reply after only 1-2 days. You're just a Free Member -- not a Premium Member or a client. We'll get to it when we get to it. :knock: |
a disk philips dvd + r 16x will have a life span of many years to keep the burned files? id: cmc mag m01
