my dvd + r 16x philips manufactured in 2010, burned in 2013, tested in 2013 (100% good) and tested in 2016 with Nero DiscSpeed and (100% good), it shows that in 5, 10, the 20 or more years disc will have errors and the affirmation of cmc that it has a useful life expectancy of 40 years 50RH 25 ° C is a lie statement of cmc?

About half of CMC discs are bad. That means half are good. The disc you tested is clearly a good one.

Note that jitter/PIF/PIE consideration are excluded, and that can help determine longevity -- 5 vs. 10 vs. 20 vs. 40 years, etc. But you don't have the drive for it, nor the knowledge for interpretation. So discussing it is moot. You can learn about media, but not having the hardware is a conversation stopper.

Most media tests sketchy before fail. So you can usually recover 95%+ of the data before outright failure. Just keep testing it every 5 or so years.

help me to do a scan of jitter / IPF / PIE my drive is a SH-222BB 2 firmware samsung

which drives do this scan jitter, pif, pie in dvds? low price

I did check on dvds now in 2016 if I do another scan after 5 years will not lose the files?

For purpose of this conversation, "scanning" means it can read jitter/PI/PO values, not simple scans.

New drives can't really do it anymore. Older drives were best. But you must be certain the drive is fine to trust results. So a used drive may have unknown problems.

Samsung drives can't scan media.

For scanning, the best drives were never low priced. That was Samsungs and LGs, which cannot scan.

BenQ was best. LiteOn worked, but had skewed results. Plextor is overhyped.

This isn't something that I have time to research, especially since you're not able/willing to buy from places like Newegg in North America or Europe. South America never had much choice in optical drives and discs.

if the scan jitter, pie and PIF is not possible then I will not have a usable estimate of life in years of my dvds? the cmc said a good disc has a life of 40 years

I will can buy a DVD BenQ drive to a scan jitter, pie and PIF?

which model benq and liteon supports jitter, pie and PIF?

if I do not have the drive to support jitter, pie and pif I can not tell if my burned disc will have the strength of 40 years stored under the conditions indicated by the CMC?
