Why was I laughing? Because that's essentially the same as those silly "cell phones cause cancer" or "5G causes COVID" myths. Waves exist regardless of whether humanity is tapping into them. Air, land, sea, space, everywhere! So unless you find a way to live outside of our universe, radio/etc waves happen. In fact, you're emitting waves (EM radiation, etc). You're also absorbing and passing waves.

The topic does get complex, because there is truth to concentrating both send and receive of waves. For example, sleeping under a microwave transmitter will earn you a Darwin award (true story!).

Optical media is ... optical. So no.
Magnetic media is ... magnetic. So again, no.

- Waves of light can harm optical media. Of course, realize light writes optical media. So wavelength matters.
- And EMF can wipe a drive. But most people fail to realize HDD contain powerful magnets, and dragging a puny hardware store magnet across a drive often does nothing whatsoever.

Bluetooth/WiFi/etc is a relatively weak emission that travels for inches to feet, and generally falters after hitting a few walls or solid objects. You're not going to wipe HDD, certain not optical (because optical!), with these normal household items. If anything, a microwave is probably more disruptive to electronics, so don't put the computer in the kitchen (and on the same breaker).
