What markers to use on archival DVDs?
 

I am making some DVDs (Verbatim Ultralife Archival AZO) for archival and want to write on top of the disk.
I do not want to use labels of any sort.

What marker(s) are recommended that won't damage the disk and are fairly permanent?
I am leaning towards using a Sharpie, but will wait to hear recommendations.

Sharpie is fine.

Any Sharpie, the "disc safe" markers are ridiculous products for gullible suckers.
