JVC VCR EK, EG, and E differences?
 

I'm trying to find my old vcr online and I've narrowed it down to the model.

But there are three variants known as E, EK and EG.

Does anyone know the difference of these three? From what I've learnt I think EK was the UK's model.

Usually it's just a difference between tuner/rf modulator and broadcast stereo system, none of which are relevant to playback unless you are using the antenna outputs for some reason. There are other variants that are much more different like -MS and -AM prefix models. (and ofc -U models from the US)

The UK variants often lacked MESECAM support however in case that's needed.

Realistically all the same.

EK = UK retail model
E or EU = Europe retail model
EG = German retail model (?)
