Whatever positive feedback already exists here and other places in the Forum is well deserved. Started a journey of digitising some old tapes about 5 years ago and knew basically nothing...the good news is with the guidance and assistance Lordsmurf, I still know basically nothing, but I got the videos done and at a much higher quality level than I would have achieved on my own. His support/conversation has been invaluable, not to mention the ability to hook me up with some good quality gear without breaking my budget. My memories are now digitally immortalised, for better or for worse, and I owe a huge part of that to LS and our interactions on this very forum! Thank you!

Amen to that, can also agree that this forum has been a treasure trove of information. While it was rough starting out, and did cost a good chunk of money and time, I can now say that two years into my digitization journey that I am mostly confident with what I am doing.

Confident enough to start my own tape/photo transfer side hustle, I feel like I have a purpose in life, doing something that I enjoy, being productive while working, and can be on and off profitable, with hopes of being able to score a job at my local digitizing business who has had an online presence since at least 1996!
