Back in 2011, somebody released a list of the 10,000 most common passwords. You could download the full text file, which I then saved, and have now attached it here. I forget what individual or company did it. I think I found it via Lifehacker.

At the time, it was estimated that 50% of all passwords online were one of the 10,000. Many of our web design/dev/hosting clients were using these passwords before they came to us, with "123456" being the most common. Other popular ones we saw were "trustno1" and "ilovesex". Some clients were actually argumentative about this -- and none of those people are our clients anymore! (When clients are belligerent, we divorce them!)

Anyway, I found it amusing. There must be a lot of simple-minded males online! :P
