Any experience with these eBay sellers? (JVC, Panasonic VCRs)

Both have 100% positive feedback, but that does not really help because most of the items they are selling are low cost items that are unlikely to have problems.
Neither one lists the location of the items.

That is an obscenely expensive JVC HR-S7500, and not at all worth the price.

The seller also reminds me a few specific Videohelp users, insisting that "Picture" filters were in any way bad. They were not. If you really hated them, you can put the deck in edit mode, and that turned them off. But part of the reason to own the JVC decks was to take advantage of this filter -- specifically NORM/AUTO. It makes a huge difference in image clarity and cleanliness. From the description given, the seller does NOT know that much about JVC decks.

The AGW2 is also obscenely overpriced (it was only $550 new!!!), and is not a good deck.

I'd avoid both of those. Phooey on that! :mad4:
