Which Consumer VCRs have HiFi Audio Capabilities?
Hi!
I have an NEC n9077k - I cannot find information if it has the capability for me to run an audio signal into it, in order to record the audio to tape.... and then re-record the audio out to my digital recorder? The NEC has only a single yellow AUDIO IN connector - is this mono? I want to experiment with VHS Tape Mastering and I only have this NEC player and a Philips VR600, but I don't think either will do stereo - the Philips actually only has audio out. Best, Benny |

Thank you for the prompt reply!
I shall have to find a player with HiFi Stereo capability, and both audio in & audio out? My source will be digital, from my PC. |

Aha ... output from the PC to the Philips VR600.
That is not so great, you're going to "Kopfumschaltbereich = Head switch noise" listen.[hören=German] Sorry, my mother tongue I Swiss dialect and German. according to manual or PDF works recording via Scart / Peritel, back VR600. I only have the VR1000 / 1100/1200 / 1500+ VR20D Naughty question of an old man ... why again on VHS? http://de.nodevice.com/user_manual/philips/vcr.html |
