How to watch Youtube videos without buffering? OpenDNS?
 

Sorry for the word loadlesslly . I am talkinkin about buffuring or loading as you tube puts it.And i want to be ale to get a better stream.

I was wondering about the open dns blog you guys had awhile back. Specifically about charter.I to am a charter customer because that's all I have to choose from.I have a upload of 66.17 mbps down and a 4.35 mbps wired and a wireless of 11.83down and 4.29up and they both act the same. whether m wired to my laptop or wireless to my tablets or phones.How do i go about installing open dns .And is it Possible to install on my Lnyksis router?

65 down / 4 up is a decent speed for wired.
For wireless G speed, 12 down / 4 up is about as good as it will get.

It really depends on the exact Linksys model in use. For most routers, you just login with the localhost IP (192.168.x.x), enter the username/password (if any), and then locate the DNS settings. Change from automatic to the manually enter IPs 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.

Most routers let you change DNS. All computers will. It's really only the Apple devices that are a PITA (and is one of the many reasons why I no longer an iPad).

This all said, Youtube buffering is usually an issue with bandwidth bottlenecking on the (usually local) network. Sometimes the near WAN (ISP) is to blame.

It can even be an issue with the browser. Consider disabling Flash, as it is an extra layer of crap. Youtube works fine with HTML5, which is natively part of every modern browser.
