Download counter for attachments is inaccurate

This attachment has at least 2 downloads (koberulez & sanlyn) but shows 1. Other attachments in that thread show 0 even though I myself downloaded them once.

Is it always n-1 for all (n downloads > 1), or is it ignoring even more downloads? And what about if we download our own attachment to double-check it uploaded fine; shouldn't that normally count as 1 download?

Attachment included, to test. I will download it myself.

It may be a cron that must run (hourly?). Or the layers of cache may cause some interruption.
Keep watch of it.

This thread currently shows 2 downloads and the linked AVSMeter post shows 3. I guess it's just a delay, as you say.
