Capture DV Tapes

Hi.

I would like to know which free software to use to capture DV tapes to PC in order to make DVD with it.

DV is digital video. It is not captured. It is copied 1:1 by playing in a DV camera via Firewire into DV copy software such as WinDV, designed for that purpose to copy DV directly to PC. The copied DV is then encoded to whatever format you want, including DVD.
