Who uses The Digital FAQ forum?
I was browsing the database yesterday, doing some more prep work for the next forum update, and it occurred to me...
The membership of our online community is impressive. - actors - directors - producers - independent filmmakers - small studio/production/post houses - large studio/production/post houses - broadcasters (both on-screen and off-screen talent) - CEOs (and other C-level), VPs - politicians - law enforcement - private investigators - software developers - doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc - and other notables I'm surely forgetting at the moment And, of course, lots of hobbyists. - Sometimes they choose to just register and read. - Sometimes participate -- either ask or answer questions, maybe both. - Sometimes they support the site, either via Premium Member or outright donation. (THANK YOU!) - Many elect not to reveal who they are, and we respect that. That's why we use the legacy "username" method, instead of the social-era "real names" intrusive method. - Some contact Site Staff to say hello, some do not. So you never know who you may be speaking with on this site. Always be mindful of this. Keep it friendly, keep it professional. You never know when a conversation could turn into something more, networking that may be fruitful. I'm proud of what this site has accomplished in the past 15 years. :nixon: |
