I have a Wolverine PD20 Scanner. I've cleaned everything, removed dust, and made sure that my pictures to be scanned are cleaned as well.
I am new to picture scanning. I have hundreds of pictures to scan and I really like the convenience of the Wolverine Scanner. I just don't understand what I am doing wrong.
If you look at the attached scan, you can see the white spots that appear on all of the colored pictures that I attempt to scan. If I scan black and white pictures, the problem is minimal. Only a few spots appear.
I tried working with GIMP; however, it's a lot of work and there has to be a better way to do this. Do I really need to despackle each picture? I've looked at the scans of other people on this forum and they are perfect.
Any help would be appreciated. I want to preserve all of my old family photos.
Thank you.
