Repair My Panasonic AG-1980?

I'm not sure if seeking a repair is an option. I was able to acquire a Panasonic AG-1980. It has an issue with the loading mechanism. (F04) I was able to utilize a tutorial to manually remove a tape that came stuck inside but the issue remains. because of this I cannot test playback to know if it needs reconditioning. Does anyone offer such a service... fix the loader, recondition as necessary?
