Hello,

I'm currently using a JVC 7955MS (no TBC included) to capture my VHS. I have the opportunity to get a free Panasonic AG TBC-700, is this will improve my quality ?

I can also get AG7500 AG7510 and AG4700 (same as NV-HS1000?) Panasonic VCR but from what I read they are not good compared to modern JVC?

Thanks,

Panasonic AG TBC-700 is broadcast rackmount "pizza box" unit. That's not what you need or want for VHS. It's not at al like DataVideo/Cypress type units. Those types of units can actually make consumer sources (VHS, etc) worse, not better.

A €1500 price tag is somewhat ridiculous here.

Broadcast units are often $100 because of how worthless they are in modern settings. Those were literally made for different functions in the 1980s and 90s. Not digitizing home videos.
