Can loose composite audio connectors be fixed?

2 Attachment(s)
Hi,
I have a Panasonic NV-HS860EG-S vcr and I have problem with the sound output. When I am connecting it to my capture card, the composite audio connectors seem that they don't do proper contact with the cables. So the sound appears either mono (instead of stereo) , either very low level or with "scratches", especially when I move the cables. When I push the cables towards the vcr, seems that the connection is restored, proper, and the sound appears again loud, normal.
I opened the vcr, but those loose connectors do not seem approachable.
Do you know if this connector problem can be fixed? Can I do anything by myself, or I need to send it to an expert to repair it?
Thanks

If the connector itself isn't broken, the solder joints between it and the pcb can be re-done. I don't know if the IO board comes out without desoldering it from the main board though which makes things a bit tricky, otherwise it would be pretty straight forward.

One simple workaround on this deck would be to take audio out from the SCART output instead (assuming that's not broken as well) with a scart->rca adapter (one with an in/out switch, the most basic ones are input only).
