Manual for JVC HR-S6700U for download?

I looking for an owners manual for. JVC HR-S6700U.

Digital Facts and several forums have a link to what is suppose to be the JVC HR-S6700U, but every one I’ve looked at incorrectly links to the manual for the JVC HR-S6700EU & HR-S6711EU instead.

Not sure how to contact the administrator to get this corrected, but regardless, I’m still looking for the manual for the JVC HR-S6700U (not EU)

Anyone know where I can find this manual?

Thx - joe

Do you know how to use Google search? Just Google it.

Yes. I’ve been Googling it for days and already checked out all the sites your link brings up. If you’ll notice, only a few are for the HR S6700U. Most are for the HR S7600U. The only links that work for the HR S6700U are for the service manual and cost $12, but I’m looking for the owners manual. The other links that say they are for the HR-S6700U owner’s manual lead to dead ends. I’ve checked them all out. The search continues...

Oh I see, 6700U not 7600U, $12 for a manual ain't bad, I would pay it if I needed one.

Paying $12 is ridiculous. The money almost always goes to a Russian site operator (most of these sites are Russian or eastern bloc), and selling the manuals is not ethical (and the legality is dubious at best).

Pay $12 if you must, but upload to this site afterwards, for others in the future.

I bought a lot of manuals and I always get my money back by selling copies on ebay then upload it on a public forum such as this one for everyone else to use.

:congrats:

Some years ago, a manual that I had scanned (and OCR'd) was being sold on eBay. So I listed it too, for 99 cents (then the eBay minimum). One of the other sellers would report my listings, lying in the process, and get my listings taken down. After that happened a few times, I called eBay, got that seller booted, and my seller strikes were removed. The other sellers quit bothering for a mere $1. It may have been the Elite BVP4+ manual, but I don't remember anymore. This was at least 10 years ago.
