NV-HS860 NV-HS960 head drum parts?

1 Attachment(s)
If anybody knows of another model with the same head type VXP2050 or VXP2049 or another interchangable type it would be appreciated or if there is somewhere I could source the part from?

Whilst it is used on a z-mech it appears not all models with a z-mech have this drum?

Just check service manuals online for models with the same features like yours, The drum in the picture is a 7 head assembly. 2 SP, 2 LP, 2 HiFi and one erase head, the sixth slot is a dummy head for balancing purposes.

Of course, thank you for the pointer.

A lot of the z-mech decks, including the later SVHS ones, use the newer head drum design with the motor on top and completely different connectors which won't be compatible with these even if they have the same number of heads.

Not just the number of heads, He has to look up the service manual before making any investment.

I have the service manual for the 860/960 models but the Cylinder Unit Replacement part is not hugely sufficient.

I'll check out some more manuals for the 900/950 models.

VXP seems to be a common prefix with similar units.
