Looking for JVC 9800u pinch roller
 

It's part number "LP40105-001B PINCH ROLLER ARM". I've been looking for days with no luck, so thought I would ask here to see if anyone has one or knows what alternate part I can replace it with. Thanks!

Do they still make or sell stuff? That site says it was last updated in 2002.

You don't need the whole arm, just the pinch roller, they are pretty common as long as you get the right diameter.

I was wondering if I could just find a roller of the right diameter, but it looks like taking the roller off would destroy the plastic piece that holds it on.

It's old plastic.
I would think heating it up will soften the plastic.
