How to identify remote for JVC HR-S5000U

I just purchased a JVC HR-S5000U in good condition (no remote) for capturing my home VHS videos. I plan on passing this s-vhs out through Panasonic ES10, and then capturing to HDD with LITEON LVW 5045 as the 1st phase of my capture workflow.

What is the part number for the HR-S500U remote ? Is there an aftermarket remote that would work with this VCR? Is there an advantage to having an OEM remote?

Thanks

Look up the user manual online.

Thank you latreche34 for the suggestion. I did find an image (not searchable) of the manual and spent some time reading it, but nothing there that I could find about the specifics of the remote. The copy was such poor quality the remote was not really visible. I believe this was from around 1989 or so. Next I looked on ebay, etc. for posts of this VCR selling with remote and got an idea of what it looked like. Then I tried to visually match the remotes to those that were for sale, but this did not really work either. I also tried to match available remotes by VCR model number with no luck. This leads me to another thought I have not tried, I will see if I can find a Service Manual and see if it has the information. Thanks
