AG1980 Tape stuck
 
Recently one of my tapes got stuck in my AG1980 suddenly. I opened the cover and found the the tape got jammed in the VCR so I wound the tape manually to the point it is easily removable but VCR is stuck in play position and I can't seem to get the tape out. How to I manually remove the tape from my VCR and how to a manually get the AG1980 out of play mode?

UPDATE:

I got the tape out finally and the VCR seems to be playing fine now. Is there anything I should be aware of since this happened? What should I do to prevent it from happening in the future?
