VCR refuses to play and then ejects tape?
 

Hi!. I was trying to play some tapes on my Samsung DVD-V2000 when the tapes would be stuck on "STOP" and then eventually Eject. I took off the metal cover to demonstrate what happens to the tape inside of the VCR. (Attached below). I'm not sure how to diagnose or repair the VCR. Anything helps ^^

The first thing you do is look inside to see any broken, cracked or missing components, check for foreign objects, remove the deck and remove and clean the mode switch and go from there.

Hi all, let you know that what I was experiencing was caused by the head drum not spinning (this can be seen in the video). For some reason, it was stuck, so I wiggled it enough to allow it to spin, and voila! problem solved! Hope this helps anyone experiencing similar issue.
