How to safely detach/attach CBAs to/from main CBA?
 

Hi all,I managed to disconnect all CBA's from the main board on my AG-5710 (~~AG1980), but it was nerve wracking... and now I get to reconnect everything, and then remove one by one over time yet again.**


I'm wondering if anyone has practical hints on how to do this safely. The service manual is silent.


- Are there recommended best practices when disconnecting/connecting?
- Is there any lubricant that will not interfere with operation but enable easier future mechanical disconnects/reconnects?


All words of wisdom MOST welcome :)


** Why? I got it apart, then realized recapping everything would be crazy. I am reassembling, then plan to fix one board at a time...

Update on my own question...

- Micro screwdrivers inserted into the seam... are your friend
- CAREFUL micro application of conductive grease on pins, can help
- Do NOT pull on wires
