JVC HR-S7800U service manual, parts, components?

Good afternoon,

Roy here,

Looking for help.

I’m in the hunt for manuals that would relate to a JVC HR-S7800U. Came here and didn’t find exactly what I was searching for. Looking for mechanical part numbers and procedures as other JVC manuals tend to have in more detail. The PDF download from manualslib.com https://www.manualslib.com/manual/12...duct-HR-S7800U , https://www.manualslib.com/manual/84...Hr-S7800u.html doesn’t seem to have complete information. As in… page 5-1 MECHANISM ASSY <M4> part #, the various belts sizes/specs and such.

A bonus would be some sort of cross reference of other JVC units that have the same/similar parts/components.

Grateful for any help,
Thanks in advance,
Roy

If I recall, the HR-S7800U manual references the HR-S4800U for most of the chassis details. The 7800 is basically a 4800 with the DigiPure TBC added onto it.

Yep, which is why the 4800 is probably the best non-TBC deck.
