Sony SVO-160 is e-waste?

I think I know the answer, but I have a Sony SVO-160 that was sitting in a closet for a long time, and will not power-up.
Does this thing have any value or...shall I drop it off for recycling? I certainly do not have the skills to repair it and I paid nothing for it.

I don't know what Sony SVO-160 is but if it's a VCR or a camcorder not built in TBC and S-Video out I would say not worth spending money on to fix, you can list for parts if it does share some with other machines, otherwise just e-waste it.

Hi Mr L34. It is a VHS player, HQ, and BNC out, never used it and do not know the particulars, though it looks solidly built and very clean inside and out. I'm just clearing my conscience as I add yet another bit of analog history to the recycler's bin.
