JVC HR-DX22U repair?
How the heck do you service this model. Its like its all one piece that does not come out. There are no other screws and the RF connector seems to be a part of it. Anyone work on these?

Photos of the inside would help, i don't know this specific model. I know some thomson's and toshiba's (mid 90's models) that need the whole board to be removed before removing the mech and the drum's stator is soldered onto the board aswell just to give you an idea.

Not sure what's so hard about that if you have the skills to repair vintage electronics.

When all else fails, read the instructions.
I believe you can look in SM from HR-DX20 if can not find 22. https://manualmachine.com/jvc/hrdx20...ervice-manual/ https://elektrotanya.com/jvc_hr-dx20.../download.html Figure 1-1-4 and 1-1-11 |
Thanks for sending that. I have done that already. This appears different. Pulling up would snap the board. It is either caught on something or is connected to the RF connector that goes through the back panel.
-- merged -- I got it.. something melted on the bottom of the case. I had to pry it pretty hard. |
