Panasonic AG-7650P is quality VCR?

I am viewing a listing for a Panasonic AG-7650-P SVHS VCR with an internal TBC. According to the seller, "There is an issue with the picture, though. It looks jumbled, like the tracking is off or something. Beyond my scope of knowledge". I haven't seen this model referenced in this forum. Anyone know if this is worth a look or the trouble to try to fix?

No, not worth it, stay away. Waste of time and money.

I just left this reply in another thread, and it applies here too:

This really isn't a "nice" VCR. And it's actually a good "first S-VHS VCR" to screw around with. The AG-1980P (NTSC) and NV-FS200 (PAL) are the decks where you want to be careful.

Errors are expected. In the 2020s, it's a feature, not a bug.

To find info, stay away from the AI bots -- they'll all clueless. The I in AI = idiot.

I really don't understand why people buy those
- made for editing (not playback)
- SP mode only
- generally run into the ground, with no proper maintenance ever
- often plays consumer VHS tapes terribly
