I have downloaded part 1 but seem to be unable to download the circuit diagrams part 2 and 3 from this site, I need the power supply diagram which seems to be the only circuit not shown on part 1.when i try to down load 2/3 it just says that the structure of the archive is damaged.

THE FAULT WITH THE VIDEO IS (NO DISPLAY, WILL NOT ACCEPT TAPE AND HEAD SPEED RACING,SO I PRESUME THAT ONE OF THE VOLTAGE LINES IS DOWN)

Give your email and I'll send it directly (the files here should work, tried different archive software?).

Most often you just need to replace the caps. Easier to redo them all than to look for broken one.

Note: I've merged lifebeginsnow's new thread into this older one, since it's a continuation of this topic.

A lot of people get confused about RAR files. If you've downloaded parts 1-3, and then unRAR part 1, the entire archive un-archives. Each RAR does not represent a different file, but rather a piece of a whole. Though some archive utilities may work, it's suggested that you use WinRAR, for the best experience.

I was able to download and unRAR the above files just fine.

Yup, from a quick glance it seems PSU schematics is not included.

Any idea's:)

If you have no diagnostic experience, just replace parts till it starts working (there aren't that many of them) or buy/loot defect unit for spare PSU.

Has anyone got a got a PSU circuit for Panasonic NV HS1000BYP :thumb:

I've got a spare PSU (whole unit sans upper drum really) if we can agree on a price. :) Loading mechanism needs overhauling, otherwise parts in ok condition.
