Need to replace DVD deck for Samsung DVD-V500
 

This is a sub-par dual player with s vid out. I'm pretty sure s vid wont work with VHS.The DVD deck will not recognize any disk , it tries three times and stops. I looked inside and so far i have found one little broken piece of plastic stuck to a rail. Is there a good website to get parts for these things, in particular the whole DVD deck. It looks fairly easy to change out but so far i cant find parts

honestly it would be cheaper and better just to buy a better deck.

These days, the only decks worth replacing are the LSI Logic chipset machines like the JVC DR-M10 and DR-M100.
This doesn't have an LSI that I'm aware. So toss it. Get a new/better one.
