JVC HR S6900U/HR S7100U repair

I have several of these machines, and one of them I just rebuilt from another 6900.

Machine 1: HR S7100U- I aligned the transport to the best of m ability with a tape I made on a Sony VHS SP mode, and on some tapes made on other machines it works perfectly, but with others, it is extremely jumpy. On one particular Disney tape, the tape bounces between extremely dark, and then back to normal color and vice versa. Also on this machine, when rewinding in stop mode, the deck makes these horrible screeching noises. What is causing this?

Machine 2: HR S6900U: I had this machine repaired in 2012 for the cassette housing gear malfunctioning, and the same thing just occurred again. I have another JVC with the same mech with a functioning eject gear. Should I try to remove it from that machine or should I try to order parts to just replace the whole entire thing?

Next, where can I get the alignment tapes for these JVC machines? Alignment tapes such as MH 1, MH 1L?

There is also a site that's selling an alignment tape for $19.95 http://www.electronix.com/vhs-format...93220kqhh4qo11

Could that be a good substitute?

Any help with these issues would be greatly appreciative.

The Disney tape issue is probably anti-copy -- and Disney tapes are often stronger protection than Macrovision!

The squealing/screeching is a cause by a lack of lubricants on the mechanics.

As far as the alignment tapes -- I don't know. I would always have decks aligned and cleaned at the same time, when needed. And then I could do it manually on the JVC decks, using nothing more than my fingers and a screwdriver. I've often "broken" JVC 3800 units for misaligned tapes jobs.
