HR-S9900U Service Manual phase matching info?

Hello all, I have a 9900u that needs some TLC - the gears and linkage are all messed up. I'm having trouble identifying the "starting positions" for everything.

I can't find a good reference. A full service manual would be awesome.

Is there another model that is the same as the 9900u in this regard? I thought I saw something about this but can't find it again.

HR-S9600U, HR-S9800U, HR-S9900U are the same, as far as I know.
