Blaupunkt RTV-950 repair

Bought a Blaupunkt S-VHS RTV-950, similar to Panasonic NV-FS 200, but I'm not sure it's exactly the same inside. I needed a good PAL S-VHS for transfert, and this was not functional, so "cheap" comparing to a working one, and because the description said that it was completely dead, it was perfect for me. I prefer this as it's probably the PSU, instead of an error while loading or something like that. I thought the internal design was going to be the same as the AG-1980/AG-1570, but it's not

I ordered the service manual for the RTV-950, found it on http://www.manuals-in-pdf.com/ for 7.99$

I'm waiting for the link. I hope the schematic are included !

I have a basic knowledge of electronics (and english ;-). I'm starting this thread to share my repair progress and maybe have some help.

I've found the service manual for free for the NV-FS200. I'll check if the PSU is the same (checking the location of parts).

I've found these video, can be interesting

So, because it's a 240v VCR and the internal PSU don't have the option to run on 120v (strange..), i bought this AC converter, 18 CAD, 100w.

This is the output of the PSU. There's no voltage on the 3 separate pins on the right. I guess there's should some voltage going to the power button. I've tested a couple of the small pins also in the large connector. No voltage. Both fuse a ok inside.

Here's a couple of pictures of the inside of the PSU and VCR.

Disassembly seems to be pretty much the same as for the NV-FS200. I was wondering what was the C.B.A. under the unit. It's the TBC.

Anyway, I guess the PSU needs a recap. I'll try to change all the electrolytic capacitors to be sure. Is there a way to test a capacitor ? I never tried. I'll need to check on my new Multimeter and in the manual.

After verification, the 3 separate pins on the right are grounds.
