Manually move tape transport on JVC VCR?
 

I'm trying to repair a pair of SR-V10U, been putting it off for years, but forgot how to move the transport manually. The service manually "explains" it, but isn't comprehensible.

(Note that the manuals claim the SR-V10u and HR-S5900 share a transport, but I call BS. They don't behave the same, and I've owned both decks. And that may be part of my problem here.)

You must move the tape assembly out of the way to get to the bottom screws to remove the entire assembly. Some JVCs are great to repair, some are a PITA, and this is the latter.

PS Sorry for the dumb questions I am a noob, but still can read.
I make a lot of "visual" instructions so maybe I can duplicate the instruction with pictures.
Can you send a picture of your machine when it is opened?
