LG LHB745 D-Protection error?

My LG LHB745 home cinema is saying D-PROTECTION after 5-10 mins play. How it can be fixed?

This is just a semi-generic LG error message. Something is having a fault, and is stopping itself to protected something from further damage. Other letters exist like "S", not just "D", and it's fairly useless info.

The manual may have more, in the back, under troubleshooting, but usually not.

Bad capacitors (bad caps) are common.

Likely scenario is McCoy to Kirk: "It's dead, Jim."

Does it happen with all media or only some?

Have you performed a firmware update?
