Hello

After being away for a while I have been testing capturing with Elgato Game Capture HD I had obtained earlier for other purpose.

Would you recommend it for decent VHS capture or whether I have to improve my hardware to get better quality (what about avermedia)? Also, is it odd that my virtualdub does not find that in its device list?

I have a pretty good laptop which I (would) use for capturing with 16gb ram and good cpu on it.

Love to hear your feedback.

Also no, weakness of the card, a reason (of several) why not suggested.
